Ballarat CASA provides free confidential specialist counselling advocacy and support to people who have experienced sexual assault including non-offending partners, families and friends.
Our services aim to resolve the personal and social impact of sexual assault and to assist survivors to reclaim control in their lives and relationships.
We service Ballarat and surrounding districts.

Activities

Services include
- Trauma informed counselling
- Advocacy
- Provision of a Harmful Sexual Behaviour Treatment Program
- Crisis Care Support after a recent sexual assault
- Community Education
- Outreach Support to Ararat, Daylesford, Bacchus Marsh & some local schools

Description

The shed has over 200 members and there is bound to be someone with the right skills that can help you. A significant purpose of the shed is the underlying health of men. Being able to drop in to the shed is part of that support for your health. The shed provides physical activity in a workshop environment or a place to stop for a chat and cuppa with like minded people. If you want to provide some "give-back" to the community, then you can't go past our friendly environment to do just that.

Activities

Men and Family Relationships provide a range of support and education programs to men, family members and the community. The service can assist with parenting, separation, relationships issues, depression and self-esteem. This is a free service.

Referrals are received from individual’s community agencies, schools and family members.
